Last week on Desperate Housewives, viewers learned what transpired on Wisteria lane in the past five years. Dave convinced Susan to throw Mrs. McCluskey a surprise party for her 70th birthday, Jackson wanted to take his relationship with Susan to the next level while Gaby’s worried that she might be pregnant. Fans also found out about the startling reason for the bond between Bree and Katherine while an outraged Mrs. McCluskey had the entire neighborhood questioning her sanity.
In the sixth episode of the fifth season of Desperate Housewives, Carlos’ client has an orgasm whenever Carlos is giving her a massage. Carlos thinks the right thing to do would be to stop giving her massages, but his client gives him a huge tip that is too hard to refuse. Gaby, who doesn’t know about the orgasm, encourages Carlos to keep the job for the money until a startling discovery leaves her second guessing.
Meanwhile, Lynette suspects Tom is having an affair. After breaking up with Jackson, Susan attempts to surprise him only to find the surprise on her. And as the connection between Bree and Katherine grows, Mrs. McCluskey enlists the help of her sister to dig up information on Dave.

Following the airing of “Back in Business” episode, ABC network have presented a preview to the next episode of “Desperate Housewives” through a promotional video. The thirty-minute-long video gives out a glimpse into the 5.05 episode entitled “Mirror, Mirror” and promises an episode that is full of surprises.
“Mirror, Mirror” will takes the viewers to see what has transpired on Wisteria Lane in the past five years. The episode will deal with Dave convincing Susan to throw a surprise party for Mrs. McCluskey’s 70th birthday, Jackson wanting his relationship with Susan to go to the next level and Gaby’s concern that she might be pregnant.
In the episode, it is also going to be seen Tom telling Lynette he’s sold the pizzeria, the unraveling of the reason behind Bree and Katherine’s bond, and the questioning of Mrs. McCluskey’s sanity by the neighborhood following her outburst. The new episode will be broadcast on Sunday, October 26 at 9/8c. It stars Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan and Dana Delany.

Desperate Housewives 5.4 “Back in Business” airs on Sunday, October 19th. Some major jealousy is rearing its ugly head on Wisteria Lane between the ladies.
Bree is now a successful business woman with her new cookbook and having stepped into the entrepreneurial way of life and the ladies are envious. Lynette offers some unsolicited help on Bree’s marketing plan and she desperately starts to miss her days as the breadwinning ad exec.
As far as the other ladies go, Susan and Mike’s son MJ has drawn a family portrait and it leaves Mike feeling like he doesn’t have a big part in his son’s life. Gaby is trying to figure out how to have more sex with Carlos, lol. Has he lost sex drive now that he is blind and Gaby is a mother of 2 girls?
So what about Dave, Edie’s new man? We all know he’s up to something, but we don’t know what exactly that is yet. In this episode, we will find out more of his motives for moving to Wisteria Lane.
I do hope the episodes pick up the drama factor a bit. And of course, we need some of that Desperate Housewives humor that this show used to be known for!

The season 5 premiere of Desperate Housewives is behind us! We know where the ladies are at in life, 5 years down the road, and we are “meeting” the ladies all over again. That was Marc Cherry’s plan and I think so far it was a smart decision. No one wants to watch a show that is predictable, right?
Next week, episode 5.2 “We’re So Happy You’re So Happy“ airs. I am trying to figure out what the title means. At first I assumed that it was about how Susan, Bree, Lynette and Gaby were happy that Edie is happy. It makes sense, but who knows. Here is the official episode description:
Lynette discovers her son, Porter, has a softer side, which she finds endearing. Gaby amusingly attempts to mask her demise in social stature. The time has come for the men in Susan’s life to meet. Meanwhile, Bree begins to feel the pressures of balancing marriage and a career. Edie is reminded just how hostile the neighbors on Wisteria Lane can be. Finally, a suspicious Mrs. McCluskey enlists Katherine’s help to uncover more about their new neighbor, Dave.

Desperate Housewives had one of those slow-burn episodes when it returned for Season Five last Sunday, but there were a few high points that leave me optimistic the catty action will accelerate soon, most notably the reappearance of Edie with her new freaktastic hubby Dave Williams. If that weirdo ain’t hiding a doozie of the mentally impaired kind in his closet, I’ve got a bridge in the Big Apple to sell you…
The show’s upcoming October 5 episode is called “We’re So Happy You’re So Happy,” and already I’m suspecting nobody on it is gonna stay happy for long. Lynette will see a new side of her son Porter, Susan will have to deal with the men in her life some more, Gaby will confront her loss of status in the rich-and-fab lane, Bree will have a stressful time attending to professional and personal business, and Edie will realize hostility is alive and exceedingly well on Wisteria Lane.
But the best part I’m saving for last: Good old, reliable, nosy Mrs. McCluskey will start digging into Dangerous Dave’s business. I hope that recent Emmy win for Kathryn Joosten means my favorite busybody is in no danger of getting offed by the town’s latest head case.
